Heritage: 14th- and 16th-century church, restored in 1866 thanks to a grant from Napoleon III – Town Hall: 16th-century timber-framed house once home to monks from the Diocese of Bazas.
VILLAGES FLEURIS(Award-Winning Floral Villages) a welcoming place, at the gateway to the Landes forest. Peace and quiet await the visitor, just 3km from Lac de Clarens in Casteljaloux. This village was famous in the 19th century for its livestock fairs. The village’s name comes from the Gascon word pinde, meaning “land raised by the plough”.
