Heritage: 14th-century church classified as a Historic Monument, with an 18th-century pulpit (visit by appointment).
Located to the north of Casteljaloux, Poussignac lies between the Landes forest and the Garonne hillsides. Once a commune without a central village due to its scattered dwellings, the construction of a town hall and a Jules Ferry-style school in the 1890s, followed by a community hall, spurred the emergence of a centralized residential hub. This cluster developed at a distance from the Saint Martin de Poussignac Church, which is listed as a historical monument.
