Domaine Les Landes de Gascogne
In May 2022, Center Parcs Domaines Les Landes de Gascogne officially opened its doors after more than 3 years of construction. The 87-hectare estate is located in the communes of Beauziac and Pindères.
The project has received the unanimous support of all local authorities, with 22.5 million euros raised by the Conseil régional de Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Conseil départemental de Lot-et-Garonne, the Communauté de communes Coteaux et Landes de Gascogne, not forgetting the Caisse des Dépôts / Banque des Territoires and Center Parcs Resorts France, formalizing the creation of the Société d’Economie Mixte Locale, “SEML du Rieucourt”, dedicated to carrying the Center Parcs project’s collective aqualudic facilities. The total cost of the project is almost €200 million.
New generation “Les Landes de Gascogne”
Environmental studies carried out on site have identified parcels of land with “high added value” in ecological terms, revealing the wealth of flora and fauna on part of the project site. That’s why SEPANLOG (Société pour l’Étude, la Protection et l’Aménagement de la Nature en Lot-et-Garonne), the Coteaux et Landes de Gascogne community of municipalities, the Lot-et-Garonne department and Pierre & Vacances have decided to preserve the identified plots as much as possible by taking the initiative of creating a Sensitive Natural Area (E.N.S) covering more than 33 hectares. As a result, the entire site has been designed in harmony with nature, both in terms of the design and the construction of the buildings (HQE Aménagement certification).
The new Center Parcs Domaine les Landes de Gascogne site is a major tourist attraction for our region, attracting an estimated 300,000 tourists a year.
Tourist Information Point
Located in the very heart of the village center, this area offers tourists all the resources they need to discover our magnificent region. From outdoor activities to heritage and gastronomy, all the region’s riches are showcased.
This new service is run almost 365 days a year by two hostesses, one employed by the Coteaux et Landes de Gascogne communauté de communes and the other by the Agence de Développement et de Réservation Touristique de Lot-et-Garonne.
